Storage Replicator for VMware
 
The industry’s most comprehensive data protection and disaster recovery software is now available for VMware Infrastructure 3 (VI3). FalconStor® Storage Replicator for VMware (SRV) appliances protect data in VMware environments with 100% transactional consistency.

SRV appliances communicate with Snapshot Agents in virtual machines via the IPStor® Snapshot Director running in the ESX server. The TimeMark® manager in each SRV appliance can take up to 64 application-coherent snapshots per logical volume. Data is replicated in real-time to a second appliance, providing a hot standby copy that can be activated at any time for fast and accurate recovery.

The SRV solution is available pre-installed on a FalconStor server, or as a software appliance kit (SAK) for installation on a self-sourced FalconStor-certified server.

Maximum Availability
Two SRV appliances can be interconnected for active / active failover, ensuring high availability operation.

Protection Without Migration
Through the Storage Service Enabler facility, SRV appliances incorporate currently installed disks without changing original disk partitions and without any data conversion or migration.

Smart Effective Replication
Microscan technology (sector-level differencing) minimizes bandwidth requirements.
