Based on the 5th generation RAID controller architecture, JetStor SATA Model 516F 16 bay RAID array combines high density SATA drives with lightning-fast 4Gbit/sec fiber host channels for a rapid, uninterrupted access to your most demanding applications requiring high bandwidth. It easily handles uncompressed 1080i high-definition video stream. Engineered to meet stringent demands for continuous availability, JetStor SATA 516F RAID array features powerful PowerPC RISC processor for blazingly fast I/O operations, parity-assist ASIC, completely cableless backplane-based design, and storage capacities of almost 12TB in one small 3U enclosure.

Low service and integration costs are assured by the JetStor's cableless design, two redundant hot-swappable power supplies with two independent power inputs, turbo cooling fans, and embedded RAID controller. Three year warranty comes standard with every array and covers all components.

Advanced Features
600MB/sec bandwidth to support the most demanding non-linear editing and SAN environments.

Exclusive Advanced Data Sentry technology (RAID 6) provides the highest level of data protection. Multiple simultaneous drive failures can be tolerated without downtime or data loss.

Array Roaming feature gives administrators the ability to move a complete raid set to another system without losing RAID configuration and data on that raid set.

Redundant Flash Image provides an extra layer of protection against the firmware image corruption. If the primary firmware of the RAID controller becomes corrupted, the secondary firmware image will automatically be used.

Full 48-bit ATA addressing standard support allows for up to 144 petabytes capacity per drive to be utilized in the RAID array.

ASIC assisted parity for lightning-fast throughput.

RAID controller provides RAID 0, 0+1, 1, 3, 5, and RAID 6, Global Hot Spare Disk, Auto Rebuild, and up to 2GB of DDR2 ECC SDRAM-based data cache.

Intelligent SATA backplane design (uses no cables) allows "hot swapping" of disk canisters, power supplies, and fans for increased reliability, lower cost, and ease of maintenance.

Built-in management Ethernet port provides easy access to the web-based GUI RAID Manager for configuration, management, and monitoring functions. E-mail event notification is built-in.

Completely user configurable via the front panel.

Online Parity Consistency verification feature insures RAID set integrity.
