Engineered to meet stringent demands for continuous availability, JetStor SCSI 416S RAID array features a brand-new 64-bit RISC processor for blazingly fast parity calculation and I/O operations, completely cableless backplane-based design, and storage capacities reaching 5TB in one small 3U enclosure.

Low service and integration costs are assured by the JetStor's cableless design, three redundant hot-swappable power supplies with three independent power inputs, turbo cooling fans, and embedded RAID controller. Three year warranty comes standard with every array and covers all components.

Advanced Features

Exclusive RAIDm monitoring and notification software provides instant access to the status of the RAID Array and allows for 24x7 RAID monitoring and notification.

Dual host connection can support two hosts simultaneously. Perfect for clustered environments, e.g. MSCS - Microsoft Cluster Server.

Up to sixteen low-profile SCA Wide/Ultra3/LVD 3.5" SCSI disk drives.

RAID controller provides RAID 0, 0+1, 1, 3, and 5, Global Hot Spare Disk, Auto Rebuild, and up to 1GB of SO-DIMM SDRAM-based data cache.

Intelligent SCSI backplane design (uses no cables) allows "hot swapping" of disk canisters, power supplies, and fans for increased reliability, lower cost, and ease of maintenance.

In-band SCSI monitoring and fault notification to fax / pager or e-mail.

Completely user configurable via the front panel.

Lightweight aluminum chassis design.

Environmental Monitor module allows observation of critical operating parameters via the front LCD panel.

Drive capacities of 18GB (10,000 / 15,000 rpm), 36GB (10,000 / 15,000 rpm), 73GB (10,000 / 15,000 rpm), 146GB (10,000 rpm), and 300GB (10,000 rpm) are available.
Maximum capacity 4800GB when using 300GB drives.
