As the core offerings
in our midrange storage line, the Hitachi TagmaStore® Adaptable
Modular Storage systems AMS200 and AMS500 are the most scalable,
high-performance, high-availability systems in their category.
Leveraging many high-end features, such as cache partitioning
and RAID-6, the models AMS200 and AMS500, are ideal for any
small and midsized businesses (SMBs) that are generating fast-growing
amounts of data and need to meet application requirements for
availability and performance in a small footprint. The most
recent member of the Adaptable Modular Storage line, the model
AMS1000, supports large businesses as well.
These systems can be configured as components of our Application
Optimized Storage™ solutions by matching application requirements
and the value of data to the cost of storage in consolidation
or business application platform roles, or enabling cost-effective
backup, tape replacement, archiving, and regulatory compliance
solutions in SMBs. In larger enterprises, these midrange modular
storage systems can be deployed in tiered storage environments
paired with the Hitachi TagmaStore Network Storage Controller
or Universal Storage Platform.
