Overview
QiNetix StorageManager (QSM) software lets you easily administer storage resources by discovering, tracking, analyzing, trending and reporting on your primary storage use. This centralized view of storage inventory, capacity and usage is linked to the respective file system and application. QSM delivers the tools that enable you, a busy IT administrator, to effectively provision capacity and manage disk quotas while meeting your storage service level agreements for different classes of data.

Capacity and Quota Management
Stay ahead of storage demand by monitoring, analyzing and projecting data growth for users, applications, file systems and volumes to prevent ‘out of disk space’ issues. Monitor file types to eliminate junk and prohibited files from user shares to ensure corporate standards are met. QiNetix StorageManager reporting lets you:

  • Identify users and groups abusing corporate disk usage quotas

Service Level Management
