The Tandberg SLR Autoloader product family, including the new SLR75, SLR100 and the new SLR140 Autoloader, combines the productivity and security of an automated tape solution, as well as the proven reliability od SLR technology, at an affordable price. The Tandberg SLR Autoloaders are designed to back up you system for a full week or up to two months without human intervention, thereby saving resources for administration and ensuring consistent, timely backups. Each Tandberg SLR Autoloader is equipped with a SLR drive and an easy to handle 8 slot cartridge magazine.

USER FRIENDLY INTERFACE MAKES OPERATION EASY
From the intuitive LCD display to the cartridge magazine the Tandberg SLR Autoloader accommodates users by offering an easy-to-use interface allowing the set-up in three steps for instance. In addition, the display panel provides status information on the activity of the drive and loader mechanisms. Different from competitive products Tandberg SLR Autoloaders offer a bar-code reader as standard for simple inventory management. Finally, a security code prevents from unauthorized access to the business-critical data.

MAJOR OPERATING SYSTEM AND SOFTWARE CONNECTIVITY
Operating system and platform software support are assured by certified compatibility with all leading software packages for Sun Solaris, Novell NetWare, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows 2003/XP, IBM AIX, SCO UNIX, LINUX, HPUX, Mac OS, and more. TapeAlert, in combination with the diagnostics built into the Tandberg SLR Autoloader, keeps host software fully aware of the presence of all media and the status of the SLR drive and robotics. Futhermore the intergrated Media Management monitors the performance of the tape and gives warning to the users which may endanger the data quality.
